Sembuwatta lake

 The Sembuwatta lake is one of the best tourism attractive place in Sri Lanka. The reson for that is the beautiful of the lake and surrounding nature. This lake rounded with mountains (Small). Some mountain are covered with tea states, some are covered with Pinus trees.

1.Sembuwatta lake

This lake is man-made one. The lake is used to generate the electricity and water supply to the surrounding village people. 

Authority

This lake belongs to the plantation state of Elkaduwa. The plantation state superintendent is the authorized officer for control and mage the lake  and plantations.

The tourist should clam a ticket for  see this place.

If you use the train to travel to Sembuwatta you may come to Matale town by train and may get vehicle to travel Elkaduwa to Sembuwatta lake.
